They also sport the first stepped cap and barrel end Conway Stewart used since the early 1900s.The cap tassie sports the engraved commemorative dates 1905 & 2005 and the distinctive Conway Stewart diamond logo is engraved on the barrel tassie.Conway Stewart writing instruments are of a traditional, classical design which continues to stand the test of time.Exceptional care and attention is given by the people who hand craft and assemble each pen on site at our factory premises in Devon, UK. The cap bands are hallmarked solid 18 carat gold. Special attention is givien to the nibs to ensure a smooth wet line. They too are crafted out of 18 carat gold and available in a choice of grades to satisfy the most demanding writer.
